I saw this video, where someone made part of the beat on the keyboard, saved it on there, then looped it. Then repeated the process to make a nice beat for a song. Is that possible on beginners or advanced keyboards?

Im not taking about those corny little music programs..Let me know everythign I need to make hip hop beats. I like using samples and drums. A little piano as well. I have a Keyboard. Please help. Experienced producers only.

I would like to make rap beats on the side and possibly (if good enough) even get a deal with a label. I’ve come up with some beats that i’ve though were pretty good but i dont know what i need to know. I’m not sure about what equipment and software i will need to be able to do it.

I would like to know of a store that I can go to to buy computer software to create my own rap beats in the Detroit, Michigan area in Western Wayne County.
